  2. Bounce dryer sheets –keep them handy to remove static cling from clothing.

  3. Remove ticks-by soaking a cotton ball in dish soap and hold on tick infested area. Tick will back right out and be stuck to cotton ball.

  4. Tie up bundles of cut branches with duct tape. It works like a charm, and branches don’t fall out.

  5. Baking powder will remove coffee and tea stains from coffee or tea pots.

  6. Poison ivy remedy #1-rub Dawn Dish washing soap over it-poison ivy is an oil and it helps to break it down.

  7. Splinters- remove splinters by covering with Elmer’s Glue-allow to dry and then peel off.

  8. Broken Bulb-trying to remove a broken bulb from the socket-jam a cork onto it and turn.

  9. Cut down on soap scum in the shower-keep a squeegee in the shower and wipe down after each use. This really works!

  10. Photos stuck together? Turn your hair dryer on low and the photos will melt apart.

  12. To remove stubborn price stickers from ceramics, glass, etc., saturate with vegetable oil and wipe off.

  13. To remove gum from clothing, use egg whites. Scrub the egg white on the gum with a toothbrush and let stand for 15 minutes. Then wash as you normally would..

  14. Spray houseplants with a mixture of 1 tsp alcohol, 1 tsp of dish soap and 1 pint water to rid plants of unwanted pests (especially important before bringing plants inside after being outside all summer)..
