Our Business Buddy of the Month is Susan Kousek, owner of Balanced Spaces in Reston, VA. Susan is a Certified Professional Organizer® and works magic with her clients. We know firsthand – Sarah Pearce of DS&T attended her fabulous GO System Workshop and walked away an organized person.

Susan teaches you how to solve the problem of your action (“to do”) items getting lost in the shuffle. You learn techniques for focusing (so much more efficient than multitasking), how to handle procrastination, and, most importantly, how to set up and use a wonderful system to manage your “to do” items. Sarah said “After taking Susan’s workshop, I set up the GO System files. It’s working like a charm for me. I am actually sleeping at night instead of worrying about what I’ve forgotten.”

Susan specializes in working with professionals – setting up their filing systems, organizing financial files, offering advice on paper flow, office space and furniture, and working on time management issues. She works with individuals in corporate, association and government offices, as well as with solopreneurs. Though most of her organizing work is in offices, Susan enjoys organizing kitchens, closets, basements and garages.

She is a hands-on organizer, working along with you to get your space organized, rather than just consulting and turning over an action plan you have to implement on your own. She’s there to help you every step along the way.
